This Sunday 19th March is the Feast of St Joseph. Due to
this falling on the weekend, we will celebrate on Friday 17
March. This day is to celebrate our School’s Patron Saint, St
Joseph – the father figure of Jesus. Joseph listened and
placed great trust and faith in God. He was a man of
compassion and humility, dignity and courage throughout
his life. We can learn much from St Joseph, who accepted
things for what they were, who sought opportunities and
ways to cater for his family’s needs and who honoured and
nurtured his connections and relationships with Mary, Jesus
and God.
This Friday 17 March,
- Students can wear free dress and bring a gold coin
donation for Project Compassion. Please ensure all
students have enclosed shoes and are sunsafe.
- Whole School Liturgy for St Joseph’s Day at 8:45am in
the Sr Jenny Centre. Parents are welcome to attend.
- Every student will receive an ice-block with their class
throughout the day.
- We will have our regular P-2 Assembly on Friday
afternoon in the Sr Jenny Centre at 2:15pm.
