Resilience Workshop for Parents at St Joseph's

So often in the world, we focus on what we can’t do, rather than what we are good at, and this deficit model can often create a negative “can’t do” mindset, where we can get easily overwhelmed by small setbacks. The Resilience Doughnut is a practical strengths-based tool that has been researched-validated to build the capacity for resilience, mental health and well-being in people of all ages. Based in positive psychology, this interactive model will get you thinking more about using your child’s strengths to promote more ability to “bounce back” when things get difficult for them.

Parents and caregivers are invited to attend a workshop hosted by Senior Psychologist Peta-Anne Burns on Wednesday 3rd August 2022 at 3:30pm in the Sister Jenny Centre.
