Last week Year One students went on an excursion to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as
part of the learning they have been doing on living things.
Students saw the free flight
bird show, looked at the animal hospital and even weighed themselves as a class to see
what animal they could compare themselves to. Visiting the koala nursery was very
exciting and the students loved catching the train to see the reptile enclosure. There
were loads of sore feet and tired bodies as they boarded the bus back to school, but
not before being commended by the staff for their wonderful behaviour and beautiful
manners.
