If you've noticed some big changes around the school recently, you're not imagining things! Following the severe storm that impacted our campus last November, a major roofing renewal project is now underway across St Joseph's.
To make way for these important works, our old shelter shed has been demolished and temporary demountable classrooms have been installed. These learning spaces will support our students while each building across the school receives a brand-new roof.
While the construction activity has certainly changed the look of parts of our school, these upgrades are an important step in restoring and improving our facilities for the future. Students have enjoyed watching the progress and seeing the transformation take place each day.
The excitement doesn't stop there! Once the roofing project is complete and the demountables are removed, the area will be transformed into a brand-new space for our school community to enjoy.
We appreciate the patience and flexibility of our students, staff and families during this time and look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses. Stay tuned—we can't wait to reveal what's coming next!
