Earlier this week, we were thrilled to welcome Trinity College’s 2027 student leaders to St Joey’s to spend time with our Year 5 students.
The Captains and Vice Captains shared some fantastic advice about leadership, including valuable tips for preparing and delivering a powerful leadership speech. They also encouraged our students to have a go, believe in themselves and be willing to step outside their comfort zones. 🌟
With our Year 5 students preparing to deliver their own leadership speeches next week, it was a wonderful opportunity for them to hear directly from young leaders who have already taken that step.
We were also especially proud to welcome back two past Joeys among Trinity’s 2027 leadership team:
💙 Dominic – School Captain
❤️Lexy – Vice Captain
It is always special to see our past students return to St Joey’s, but even more so when they are inspiring the next generation of Joeys to find their voice, show courage and step forward.
A huge thank you to all four Trinity student leaders for taking the time to visit, share their experiences and encourage our Year 5 students.
Our future leaders are feeling inspired and ready to have a go! ❤️💙
